The Lesson

By Eugène Ionesco

Academia sucks.

A Young Pupil walks into a Professor's office hoping to get the tutoring she needs to make her Total Doctorate. But the Professor can't resist teaching her the advanced material. Written in the 1950's, Eugene Ionesco's absurdist play, The Lesson, brings to light society's all-to-relevant faults in ridiculous, hilarious, and gut-wrenching ways.
